Mission Magnum has been the most popular centrifugal pump in the drilling industry because of its proven reliability, durability, and economical structure.
The Magnum has an open impeller design that contains wide-tipped vanes and a more tangential circumference of the suction allowing the pump to create a smoother flow pattern when handling abrasive fluids. The Magnum is available in Magnachrome™, hard iron, stainless steel, and aluminum bronze fluid ends. The pumps can be unitized with electric motors, diesel engines, and hydraulic motors (horizontal, vertical, or close-coupled configuration).
Description:
The 6 X 5 X 14 Mission, centrifugal pump is furnished with an impeller, tungsten carbide mechanical seal, coupling, OSHA type coupling guard, 50 Horsepower explosion proof electric motor and had explosion proof push button start/stop motor starter station with breather and drain.
The pump is mounted on a oil field skid with all applicable surfaces grit blasted to white metal, primed with an organic zinc primer, painted with an intermediate coat of epoxy polyamide primer and finished with a top coat of high solids, high build alkyd enamel.
